i take comfort in the fact that women have a wider peripheral vision than men.
i was on the bus 8 to go home and i was seated at the back row smacked in the middle. then came 2 hambals who took the seats on my right. obviously they were trying to get the attention of the lady on my left who showed no interested in them. i knew they were trying to tell me something, just that i pretended not to hear them. i must thank hafeeza for entertaining my smses and my earpiece for deafening my ears. but i saw one of them trying to see what i was typing while i was sms-ing hafeeza. these kind of people, like what amirah said, ought to be taught the art of staring.

some research done:
Women have wider peripheral vision than men, up to 20 percent vertically and horizontally. Whatever the biological reasons, 180 degree vision — and most women have that — is useful when driving. In the US, 30 percent of all car-occupant deaths came from side impact crashes. Statistics for Saudi Arabia are not available — but certainly, women drivers with wider vision could only reduce the number of sideswipes.

geog remedial tomorrow. must cover development and food.
I LOST MY HUMAN GEOGRAPHY TEXTBOOK D:
if found, please please return to me thank you very much. meanwhile i'm using hafeeza's book first.

hmm...my estate is now undergoing renovations. new paint and new tiles. i think they are wasting resources, manpower and money by replacing the tiles. seriously. and not as if the new tiles are nicer. uglier got lah.
the new playgrounds that they built not too long ago also unnecessary.
anyhow, i still love my estate cos everything is well taken care of(:

now that ustzh Rahmah has left the madrasah, there is nothing to look forward to for madrasah. she has been teaching us since we were primary ones so she knows our antics. she saw us grow up. her lessons were never boring, always full of stories.
i was absent on her last day of lesson (kes malas). in fact most of us were. terkilan.

racial harmony day in school later. i hope i can fit into yuting's cheongsam.

yessah i managed to not sleep in early.

if i can have it my own way, i want to change the position of the smaller study table away from the window and place it perpendicular from the right side of the bigger table to form an L-shape. to do that, the sofa bed must be shifted to maybe below the window. this way i no longer need to face the corridor whenever i study.

i'm well aware this won't happen cos my parents won't entertain me.

although it has been one week, it still bugs me. i've never screamed at someone that bad before. and i cried like shit. my hair was all over. i was at my study room facing the corridor and luckily i bothered to close the window.
she then left cos she had to go out. a few sms-es were exchanged furiously before she called me. over the phone, i let her talked first and when i wanted to talk, i was so desperate to ask her to gimme a chance that i started screaming to shush her down. but according to her, it's cos her phone was spoilt. this part was really crazy. this was also when mum and barom came back and mum just had to open the window (she hates stuffiness. ey hello i closed the window not for fun la ok.) and they both stared at me.
she then gave up and hang up on me. sms-es were exchanged again. what bothers me most was when she texted 'Dats the dif btwn me n u. Dats y i tot yr nt direct'. since she was a literature student, i take it that she is better linguistically. so is that why i've not been doing well in humanities?
oh by the way, i'm relieved when i recently found out i could've gotten a grade higher for my geography. but too bad luh huh, it's too late for it to be reflected in the report book.
back to the story, now i'm more cautious when talking to her (like as if i haven't been quiet enough). like a few days ago, something happened in the morning. i refused to start another argument so i quickly dismissed it off so of course she had the last say. suka hati lah eh, tak main ah gaduh gaduh ni. like as if the other home problems are not enough.

this is random but i miss 2M malay class people. 'amirah, aqila, ayesha, deborah, halimatul, khairiah and shyaza. nadzirah pun boleh jugak ah:D.

take one

take two. barom menyebok. really i was alone at home when i was reading the letters and i was about to get into the "mood" when suddenly barom came home.

take three. perfect.

haha sorry rosalind. i forgot about your present. once i reached home i placed yours on my table. so i forgot to take photo with it together with the rest. but you should be honoured cos mum was the one who put it on display behind the dictionaries. usually she will chuck it away from sight cos she hates mess no matter how sentimental it is. she even offered to wrap in plastic to prevent dust from settling.

take four. these i got after POP day.

the presents giving was chaotic. didn't really use the system i suggested - to sit in a circle to give out. so like valentines day, we just screamed each other's name and shove the presents to each others' hand.

thank you people:). if only my phone USB cable is working, i would upload more photos. the photos above i borrowed kosong's camera. she's very lucky y'know. she got the camera through some lucky draw. and at the same event, she took up the challange to dance on the stage just to get another camera and she gave it to her friend. like wow.

express yourself day. 4S theme was retro but apparently i looked more like a gypsy. camwhoring was fun yo!

it's friday. me and shalu were like finding something amiss just now after school. like how come we are so free on a friday? no more NP activities. the juniors are in their camp now and i envy them. i miss pulau ubin. ok my heart feels heavy as i'm typing. i knew very well that after POP, all activities would come to a halt and studying full steam is now my only responsibility. but actually i already felt the emptiness during the june holidays. this year june there were no courses to attend, no nothing except for a few extra trainings during the last week.

looking back, cedar npcc is a choice worth making. joined in in the year 2005 and formed the squad SIRIUS:D. became part of area 5:D. not forgetting maams and juniors. and got to know people from all over through the major parades and camps. came 2007 and i was in the logistics department with three other kambings:D.
a quick scan through of the highlights of every year.
sec 1: NCO campfire(the most enthusiastic), Annual Camp (the most meaningful)
sec 2: SYF opening ceremony (the most perfect drill prac i've ever went through was the drill prac with maams to train us for the syf), sec 2 Adventure Training Camp, Annual Camp, courses
sec 3: NP Annual Parade, NCO camp (the toughest), Thailand CIP trip, NCO training courses, sec 3 Adventure Training Camp, school NDP, Annual Camp, OBSabah
sec 4: High Ropes Challenge, SPF-NPCC badge ceremony(i forgot to take photo with mum who came all the way from home to bukit timah just to see my 8 seconds of glory. stupid.), sec3 NCO camp

i miss the long bus rides to the HTA, the abundant food they serve during breaks, doing drills in a contingent, the rifle, the marching band! and haha i've no idea why they like to shout "WATCH YOUR FRONT, SEDI...A!". like, watch?

SIRIUS, WE MAY HAVE STEPPED DOWN, BUT OUR FRIENDSHIP HAS NOT ALRIGHT! we have gone through thick and thin together and i will never forget those scoldings and punishments. and i love how we could come together and help settle personal problems like that friday we stayed back after parade just to ensure nothing happens to her.

i will post photos of my POP presents next. haven't been in contact with the internet, now i'm off to squadmates' blogs to read how they feel. radio on standby lest i breakdown.
