the internet server was down the whole of last week and when it was fixed and i checked my facebook account, there's quite a number of photos from the family gathering @ sentosa tagged by kak ayun (her camera has got cool effects to play with!). i know this is so overdue but for keepsake, allow me to do a recount.

the main highlight of the gathering was the race for the cousins. introducing the green team: zaki, barom, mat nor(sorry if misspelled) and me. wahsey, guys ah, run like lipas kudung yknow. my tummy was hurting(must be the cookies i ate just before the start) and i felt like a loser cos i was lagging behind them. seriously, i thought it would be more of figuring out routes and answers but it was mainly running here and there. i dunno why i was stupid enough not to think of running barefooted. running on sand with sandals on was so mafan. fortunately i managed to take time to recover at the third stop while building the sandcastle. cut the story short...green team, from an ununited team and piecing the first clue the slowest, to coming in second place! and we won ourselves adidas and popular vouchers. hidup hijau! (just that i was wearing ixora tee cos mum threw away my garde tee and triton tee is out of stock. boo.)

eh evelynn wong ah, why keep changing link one? oh, we no longer have the same PE period eh. that's sad. and elle! if you're reading this, we're so near yet so far. i cant help thinking that you're just a few blocks away from school. do you have a new link?

just got home from school and while waiting to cool down before hitting the shower, i'll blog. i had a good time during the weekend. friday was doing cip at the scas. saturday went to yj's funfair with hafsah to see liyana. liyana played host to us and a good one at that. big thank you for the ticket and the popeye's meal two months ago:). sigh dunno when i'll see them again:(
yesterday went to a (insert: grand) wedding invitation at danga bay. initially i had doubt on going as mum and barom went along too (disastrous combination) but i've always liked the idea of crossing the singapore boundary in a private transport. deprived la kan. the three of us tompang-ed uncle's car. after danga bay was visiting the elders. i got excited to see my grandaunt's place. it's still the same! the room where my family used to sleep, the front porch where my siblings and cousins played. hee. headed to pandan city before seafood-ing at stulang. the food there rocks can.

the only thing to look forward this week is the race at sentosa with cousins. and if possible, study dates with friends.

it's true i take comfort in familiarity. coward.

if i can make it to the kenduri at kembangan tomorrow after the bengkel, i hope it rains. then it will be like the times i go there for tuition last year. more often than not, it usually rained during tuition sessions. reminisce remininsce. except that i will never see nenek on that usual sofa when i enter anymore.

k good, my phlegm is clearing up. part makan ubat, sangatlah liat. that's why it took me so long to recover. last week, one by one fell sick. for me, it started with a mild cough then i was down with a fever, but i still came to school anyway (sorry, irresposible, i know). i felt the worst during the geog tutorial last friday. i was shivering like mad until my teeth were chattering and my fingernails turned purplish. woots.
