failed attempt in making ondeh-ondeh last wednesday.

because i was craving for these sweet chewy malay delicacy, i pestered mum to let me make them. mum said it would be easier to buy them but i insisted on making them from scratch because i like how the balls bounce up to the surface of the boiling water when it's cooked (we ever made it before but twas eons ago).
but it didn't go as well as i thought it would be. it's evident from the photo above. doesn't look appetising, does it?
this is the second batch...
looks like weird green balls huh. didn't bother to roll coconut on them. biarlah bogel. i don't like coconut anyway.
